Happy Monday! Thank you so much for all your comments on my anniversary post and on the taco soup recipe. It means so much to me! Today I wanted to share my fall bucket list with you. There are so many things I haven’t had the chance to do in my favorite time of the year. So I thought, why not? Create a bucket list and share it with everybody, that way it can give you all some ideas.
1. Make a pumpkin pie from scratch
What screams fall more than pumpkins everywhere? It is only obvious that I want to make a pumpkin pie. It is just so delicious and perfect for this time of the year and even better if it is home made. You can also try making one, it doesn’t have to be pumpkin. Try making your favorite and surprise your family!
2. Go apple picking
This just sounds like a really fun activity. Go to an apple orchard and pick some apples and later make something fun with them. I haven’t done this one, but I am looking forward to it.
3. Carve pupmkins
This is a must. Especially when Halloween is approaching. I love carving all sorts of designs and putting it by the front door with a candle. It screams Halloween and makes for a good decoration. Try making one and putting it on your porch.
4. Make a “thankful for” list
I’ve seen this on a lot of blogs and I think it’s a great idea. Not only because of Thanksgiving approaching, but because we need to realize how blessed we are and be thankful for it. You can also make a list and ponder of the things you have been able to do, and the goals you have been able to achieve. This is a great activity you can share with your loved ones and close friends.
5. Have a fall inspired photoshoot
What else can you ask for when nature does all the work for you? Fall is perfect for photos because the trees turn into different colors and there are leaves everywhere. It is a perfect setting to take some pictures. I love taking photos in every season, but fall definitely is my favorite one to capture great memories.
6. Make caramel apples
This one is definitely the one my husband is most excited for. We love caramel apples, because they are sweet and sour at the same time, but we have never tried making them. So this is definitely the best time of year to try and make them. If they turn out good, I’ll be happy to share the recipe with you. Try making some and putting your favorite toppings on them!
7. Build a fort
I have to admit this is definitely the one I really want to do. I have never built one (I know right?) not one that I remember at least. But you can try and build one with all the blankets in your house and enjoy a nice movie night!
8. Go to a corn/straw maze
This is one I’ve done many times, and each time enjoy it so much. I used to get lost so many times, so they always ended up helping me and telling me where to go. I joke with my husband on how I have no sense of direction, but it’s true because I really don’t haha. Thank goodness he does, so we never get lost with him around. Try and go with a group of friends, and you’ll have so much fun!
9. Take a hike
Now that it is a lot cooler and not too many bugs to worry about, taking hikes sound like a great option. Enjoying the view while at the same time burning some calories sounds like a great idea. Try and go somewhere you’ve never been to, and have a little adventure!
10. Give out candy to trick-or-treaters
What can be cuter than giving little kids in cute costumes candy? Try and buy really good candy and have it ready right by your door, in case some kids come by knocking on your door. Maybe even dress up and make them smile! This year we have a lot of kids in our neighborhood, so I’m sure we’ll get to give some out.
11. Bake pumpkin cookies
Another recipe that I’ve been wanting to make, but never have! I love the ones with chocolate chips. They just taste so good and make the perfect dessert and midnight snack. Try making some for Halloween or Thanksgiving to make the perfect dessert!
12. Go shopping for Holiday decorations
With Fall, start all the wonderful and many holidays. Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. Try buying decor that will be perfect for each holiday and will make your home have the perfect touch for each.
What do you have on your fall bucket list for this year?
Thank you so much for stopping by, hope you have a wonderful week!
